Compressed Air Systems Audit

Emsol’s accredited compressed air auditors provide walk-through and in-depth compressed air system audits. Funding is available ... talk with Emsol about this most widely utilised industrial energy consumption.
Emsol’s services include:
- Assessing the appropriateness of current compressor setup
- Investigation of heat recovery opportunities
- Specific power consumption data logging of each compressor

Benefits:
- Supply system performance and efficiency review
- Recommendations to improve supply
- Complete engineering findings and recommendations report
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) has an option to fund an energy saving study specifically for compressed air (CAS). Emsol will help you with this opportunity by using its specialist knowledge and training to complete an EECA’s first stage report.
EECA’s offer involves a two-stage compressed air audit that includes identifying and recommending to you energy cost savings.
The two stages of the CAS audit process are:
A ‘Walk-thru CAS assessment’ to identify and estimate the value of CAS efficiency opportunities on the site; and
An ‘In-depth CAS audit’, once a walk-thru assessment has identified substantial efficiency-related opportunities.
Both stages of the audit process are fully funded by the Authority, when undertaken by Emsol’s approved CAS auditor.
If only limited efficiency opportunities are identified from the ‘walk-thru’, the audit process will be completed with a brief outline of any relevant recommendations.
If substantial CAS efficiencies are identified from the ‘walk-thru’, the likely recommendation is an ‘In-depth CAS audit’ (to more clearly specify the value and costs/benefits of the walk-through findings).
Prior to funding an In-depth CAS audit, the Commission and you would enter into an agreement covering the processes for dealing with the recommendations from the audit. In essence, the agreement will contain the criteria used to determine which of the (cost-effective) recommendations from the audit you are committed to, that are included in a CAS improvements action plan.
