Energy Management Solutions Ltd (Emsol) is a small consulting and project management business dedicated to making energy savings easy for industry, small business and homes. Established in 2002 in Nelson, central New Zealand, we now have team members located in the North and South Islands. We take pride in our knowledge, efficiency, productive work ethic and genuinely enjoying what we do. We keep up to date with new developments in energy efficient technologies and methods.

Our Story

Emsol was founded by Managing Director, Erin Roughton in February, 2002. Erin initially worked from home and, as demand for Emsol’s services increased, new offices were opened in Nelson and staff became based nationwide. Emsol now has four staff and employs specialist contractors on a regular basis. Our clients are based both in Nelson and throughout New Zealand.

Emsol began from the significant opportunity to help businesses increase profits via energy saving opportunities. As energy usage is increasing, we believe that businesses and industries need to focus on their energy needs and look at ways of reducing their energy costs. This is where Emsol can help meet client needs – by offering expertise and complete solutions that exceed client expectations.
